Fairly new hotel on the river but still very central to the town centre. Although their standard design the bedroom and shower rooms are larger than normal. Quiet room (although it was beginning of January) overlooking the river.Very few guests so breakfast was cooked to order. Help yourself Continental still available.

Stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary and also watch Saints in the FA cup against Derby (Pride Park is only a 20 walk from the hotel). Lovely big room overlooking the river Derwent for only 150 three nights B&B (this includes 8 parking in the nearby INTU car park which is less than 5 minutes away, word of advice, the hotel need to validate your parking ticket first which is fine but I struggled to find where to pay in the car park itself so best to find that early on). All staff were helpful and polite, breakfast was cooked to order as it was very quiet (stayed in early January), had one evening meal at the hotel which was absolutely delicious and good value. Usual poor beer selection as usual for these places but you don't go to Premier Inn for the ale, plenty of excellent pubs in the city centre which is right on your doorstep.

Coldest Hotel I've ever had the misfortune to stay in. There's one member of staff, large dark haired not, does nothing, at all. Walks around with both hands in pocket, tells his submissive young male counter part what yo do... All the time. Actually, he did take one hand out of his pocket to click our parking ticket through his machine. Not recommending this one.

Room is just a premier in room and there is nothing wrong with it. Staff brilliant. Only problem being is we arrived around 12am on a Saturday night, few hotels near by and a casino. Group of lads fighting and people throwing stuff from hotel next to this from out the balcony/Room. Wouldn't have bothered me much but was with an 11 year old boy who didn't really like it! Would mark higher but that let it down.

Very nice staff and the rooms are very clean and comfy. Food is good in the restaurant. It's quiet and you're guaranteed a restful night. Town is just 5 minutes away. Would definitely stay there again.
