Quite frankly I'm usually under the influence when I stay here and the staff are really helpful. The bar stays open until you run out of money and the beds are comfy. Breakfast is a good selection of pastries and cooked goodies. Really hard to fault the place. Think it's even got a gym.
It really is a beautiful hotel. clean, nice looking, lovely staff.. not sure why anyone would rate this any lower than 5!!
Would have been 5 star but nobody answered my call to reception (twice).The rooms are an adequate size, plenty of lighting, seating and surface space. The on suite worked well, and had enough supplies, though no toothpaste!Staff were busy but polite, the car park is big enough and security pretty tight too.The interior was very pleasing (compared with the exterior look). A superb modern snugg feeling with great use of lighting, spacious while contained. There is a public use mac (computer), PlayStation and other light entertainment too.Breakfast (inclusive) is a Royal affair with all the usual (flied, continental, fruits and pastries). The multipurpose functional space transforms nicely to provide a great environment to start the day in.
Very quirky hotel. Right next to the train station. Friendly & helpful staff. The food was nice but ridiculously expensive. Rivets steak for 29, & doesn't include chips! Otherwise would be 5 stars.
Great reception and bar area but the rooms are average. First impressions were fantastic with a very impressive bar and reception. The bar prices are pretty high but the added bonus of free use of the pool table and PS4 help. The rooms however are not 4 star, we had a terrible night's sleep. The duvet was too small to share and the air conditioning didn't work. Tried to call reception to resolve the issue but no answer. Nice TV but not easy to use and the remote takes ages to respond. We paid 95 on a Thursday night which was definitely overpriced. Nice staff and bar but not a 4 star definitely a 3.
