Would have 5 stars if on the last time we booked the week b4 we arrived , we got there and our room had been double booked so had to find another hotel. Understaffed unfortunately. Great food though. Must try the tandoori mixed grill (off the bone for me). Will try again in the future no doubt . must mention little magi bless her , she couldn't do enough to help out and unfortunately again I believe she had enough of staff issues and left the hotel. Won't be the same without ya maggi .

Ok so the hotel needs so attention to some parts myself and my son had a twin bedded room it was large plenty of storage space everything in the room we needed. Beds and room very clean. Breakfast was excellent lots of choice . Very comfortable stay.

Friendly Reception staff. Yes it could do with some updating, lovely clean room and linen. About 15 mins walk downhill into town. Unfortunately the weekend, that I spent at the hotel, the breakfast buffet was cold/warm and the chef was absent in the evening, so sampled local food.

I can see they are updating this hotel. The price is fantastic .the breakfast is superb help yourself . Apparently the food at the bar you can order is really good so my friends told me to I'll to have some at the time. Room was clean bed very comfortable. Just need soundproof windows as traffic noise is loud but I will definitely be going back. 10 min walk into town cheap taxi s staff are helpful and friendly well done

Do not go to this hotel (even Faulty towers would be an improvement). We booked this place for one nights stay, the photos on the website looked quite good. They must have used a good photographer because they looked nothing like the hotel. Firstly front of the hotel looked run down and in need of a good paint and clean (looking nothing like the photos), the car park looked big and in good order on the photos - however when we visited most of it was closed off and the rest looked a mess with debris and overgrown bushes. The reception area looked dated but the staff was very pleasant and helpful. However it went downhill when we made our way to our room, the stairs and decor were very run down and in need of a good clean and redecoration. On arrival at our room we found the bathroom door had a fist size hole on the outside, the room felt cramped and dirty and in much need of redecoration/updating. The worst part was the very dirty bed base which was very unstable and rocked from side to side and was obviously broken. On asking for another room we were told none were available and maintenance would look at the bed. The chap that arrived was so disinterested he may well not have bothered. Getting a refund was the best option and going to Premier inn was like going to a palace compared to the International hotel.
