Dr Brookes removed my ingrowing toenail pain free, no complaints from me

Very good service for patients.

Ref previous review, it was myself who suggested Tania contact GP first! Do us self employed people have hours to wait around in A&E when the matter may have easily been attended to by a GP?

I rarely go to the Doctors unless I really need to. I went this morning as I was assaulted at the weekend and I wanted my injuries to be checked out and recorded. I was refused to be seen by anyone at the practice. I was told it was a Police matter or go to A&E!! I thought we are only supposed to use A&E when really needed and see a GP otherwise?! I've paid into the system all my life. When I needed them I was refused.

After being really unwell i was diagnosed with gallstones and liver problems by the hospital by a scan, i had to make an appointment to see my doctor she gave me antibiotics and It was feared I might have an infection in my gallbladder I was suffering from really bad hot flashes, pains in my chest, arm, abdomen just under my ribs on the right hand side and felt at times I was going to pass out. A week before 111 sent me to hospital with these symptoms and by blood test them said I did have bacterial or viral infection.present they told me to go back to my doctor as this needed further investigation The lady doctor who I saw really listened to how I felt and said if I don't feel any better to get back in touch with surgery if I didn't feel like the antibiotics hadnt worked and there was any infection still present I might need to have antibiotics by a drip at hospital as they can't operate with an infection present , I had a few days off work and went back to work and when I was there I felt really unwell i rang the doctors back while i was still at work and told the receptionist and she said she would get a doctor to ring me back DR Brookes phoned me back and when I told him what the other doctor had said... he didn't want to know , he was rude arrogant asked me if I didn't like what I was hearing on the phone ., then preceeded to tell me you can't be that ill if you are at work. And offered me more pain killers and im already on amertripylyine and feel half spaced out do you read my notes before talking to me!!!! As you would have seen this !!!! i refused painkillers as if i took any more a would probably spend my days asleep. I am still experiencing the hot flashes and sometimes I feel really dizzy and feel like im going to pass out. I am know waiting till April for my hospital appointment for an orperation in constant pain , i just hope there isnt infection still present as this will use more of the hospital valuable time in treating me as I fell like the doctors do not want to know. I would have expected more from a practice manager !!!! I'm really saddened by my experience with this surgery as I've been in it for about 20 years and i can honestly say its got to be one of the worst doctors ever over the last couple of years .......the practice manager is meant to lead by example what can i say. He tried to make me feel worthless I never ever go to the doctors unless there is something seriously wrong .... im still sitting at home suffering. It's also took 6 years to get a referral to rhuemotology for rhuemtoid arthritis as I live my life in constant pain. This doctors actions have been disgusting.
