Visited The Belfry restaurant this evening with my husband and our family to celebrate his 60th Birthday. Fabulous food, service from all the staff, very pleasant, professional and who certainly earn their wages. Excellent night out, although pricey, well worth it and would definitely recommend.
Just had a look around for a wedding venue and first impressions are good. It's a beautiful building and very well restored I will update if I do have wedding at the place.
Quiet on a Monday evening but a good choice of craft beers. The owners have done an absolutely wonderful job of restoring a landmark in the City of Derby and have good reason to be proud of the place. Cask ales still a little hit and miss but "A" for effort. Lovely ambiance.
We had afternoon tea here this afternoon and what a truly lovely experience. We were catered for above and beyond our expectations, vegan and vegetarians in our group were very happy with the effort made to provide a range of food for them. The service was superb, we never waited for or cups / glasses to be filled and the food was home cooked and lovely.Would thoroughly recommend !
Slightly off the well beaten path but certainly worth seeking out, very nicely served pint and I was even asked if I had a CAMRA card (I nearly always forget so don't get my discount). Give it a go if you're anywhere near Derby City Centre.
