Probably good if you are there for the real ale but it really doesnt have much else to offer. Food acceptable but nothing special. Dont visit on Derby County home game days if you dont want to be crushed!
Nice beer, nice enough pub. No welcome as such and once we established I wanted food, I was given a menu. 10 mins later when I went to order I was told at least a 45 min wait!!! Its not even busy in here. Why not tell me earlier? Odd and not worth a second visit.
Visited before and after football at Pride Park. Good range of beers, pleasant and helpful staff. Very comfortable and welcoming to away fans. Will visit again.
A great beer drinkers pub ruined by an absolutely miserable manager. Basically witnessed one of his regulars assault a colleague of mine and throw us out as he didn't want to upset his regular. Seemed genuinely irritated his pub was full, baffling. Great beer, lousy owner!
A place I personally enjoyed as I like the "rustic charm" (hope that does translate). Great selection of beers. Unfortunately been there when they haven't had the kitchen open, maybe next time :)
