Good shop. Not great at restocking
Went into the store, no more than 2 metres passed the welcome mat until I'd hit by the realization that I might have forgot to pack in my wallet in my backpack. I thought to myself please not me, as I had made the effort of biking to this place but with 20 minutes remaining until the national lottery deadline, I was not going to have to time to go to and fro home. As I muttered my thoughts out allowed, trully fustrated and angry with myself in not being able to buy a physical ticket after having made the effort of biking here I walked out of the shop and to my bike firmly held against the gradient of the path into the store by my bike lock, I'd decided to check and recheck my wallet, with a slight glimmer of hope of spending this possibly good lucked charmed pound coin, that had been marked by the passing of a colleague. As I looked back at the shop front 2 young, thin and tall pale shop assistants one with glasses and the other not, approached me f3om behind, as i unhinged the bike of the bike lock, stating whether I had taken anything from the store, I'd stated, still dissapointed in myself of not being able to buy a lottery ticket, "WHAT? Nooo!". The tall pale gent stated that the one with the glasses had seen me take something. I'd stated instantly, "no you hadn't". I'd wanted to say please recheck your glasses before making an a serious aqusation like that, instead I'd stated the word, "glasses" for some strange reason, don't know why.Feeling rubbish already, and then with the Cooperative Shop Assistants approaching me being the last shovel of dirt I needed hurled into my direction, I'd felt defeated and deflated. I thought what could've given a shop assistant the impression that today at 19:10, their shop was shoplifted by a person who'd had used the shop on a few occations. Is it perhaps because I'd been wearing gym equipment, as I'd been to the gym a few minutes earlier, is it that I was wearing sunglasses on a bright hot summers day, is it that I was wearing a windcheater bicycle jacket to deflect the cool breeze, my long hair tied up in a bob as I hadn't wanted loose hair all over my face especially being a potential hazard whilst riding any bike, is it perhaps the colour of my skin! Surley it can't have been my actions in the store, as I had been no more than 2 meters into the store and at least 2 meters away from any items. Which would've made it virtually impossible for me to take any item. It can't ve been the contents of my bag, I'd showed them the content of my bag to their dissapointment there was one wide dark gaping hole with absolutely nothing insight. I could sense their dissapointment, as with out an appology, they retreated back into the store.Leaving me to soak up what had just happened, and why these two men knocked me for six. I felt disgusted by the store and it's people, has made me rethink ever returning to any cooperative store again.Check your cctv footage!
Great staff make the supermarket a really nice place to shop. The only thing is that co-op in general is slightly more expensive than other places like sainsburys. E.g. 4pint milk in co op is 1.49 when you can get it everywhere for 1.
