This park could be so much better than it is. As usual Derby City Council are rubbish and do not put any money into the maintenance and improvement of the park, especially when it comes to drainage and creating walkways. It is dirty, muddy, and not somewhere I like to visit. Problem is it doesn't improve even in the summer when it is dry as the damage is done over winter. Such a shame.
Decent open space to play on the fields and there is also a small play area for children. I believe there to be a set of courts aswel
Is ok for a quick dog walk .
Some. A**hole locked my car in the park. There is a tiny A3 sized sign that's unreadable from a car and even then only clear if stood in the road trying to read it!The sign claims that the park is allegedly shut at 10pm during summer... If this is the case how is it I was allowed to drive In at 10:25pm to walk the dog only to find myself locked in the carpark.Maybe next time I'll just leave my car in the path and just turn up 30mins after the opening time to collect it if we just open and close when we feel like it.
Hi, King George V Park is a very well kept park with what I call having five fields. Ideal for walking your dog(s). Full of colour in the autumn. Seats to sit and rest during you walk. It as a bowling club, and tennis courts with 5 aside football pen. ****stars
