New experience having the directors lounge with a bar and seating area. For a little extra cost you get 1 free soft drink and a bag of sweet or salty popcorn. The theatre has larger leather chairs that are almost sofa like with a side table you can move about. Way more leg room than a standard viewing so this make it easy to place bags and move along the isle. Seats are paired off into 2s so this is a great date night or for friends
There is confectionary and ice cream available but where they are located they layout not great. So popcorn and drinks it were. You had little snack bags of chocs and sweets on side that you could purchase. Seats were comfy if the person behind didn't keep kicking the chair because he was slightly tall
Loved it. Glad the Odeon website was wrong about availability or we probably wouldn't have come here.We were trying to include food either before or after and thought we'd give the director's lounge a try for that reason. Glad we did. We had a sharing platter and it was delicious, very tasty and plenty of it.We were sat right at the front and off to the side slightly which wasn't a great spot but the seating was comfy and the viewing angle didn't spoil the experience too much.Overall a very enjoyable experience.
We decided to go for the directors lounge to watch Bohemian Rhapsody and boy were we not disappointed. Large comfortable seats and a soft drink with a portion of popcorn in with the ticket price was a welcome bonus. I'm not usually a fan of cinema's but I'd definitely recommend the directors option. Only slight annoyance was the chair table wouldn't stay where it was so when you put your beer and popcorn on it it swings around towards your chest, but apart from that, superb.
The Insider discount is great, and you end up earning loads on your rewards card. I took my sister to see Fantastic beasts and we had such a lovely time. It was quiet, clean and the staff were friendly and interraced with us loads and made the experience even better. The young woman who we bought our tickets from even dug out and brought over some Fantastic Beasts posters for us after we had already gone to the snacks stand. I highly recommend this cinema on insider days. Sunday evening is such a relaxed time to go and you save (earn) loads.
