My local shop which I have been using for about 10 years. I buy new, entry level bikes every few years from here. They are very reasonably priced. Seem to be mostly cheaper than other bike shops I have seen. The shop also does repair work, eg puncture repairs, new wheels fitting etc. Staff are friendly and informative. No complaints.
Just around the corner from me so really convenient to get my bike fixed. But even if i lived across the other side of Derby or outside the City i would still use their services. Always offer top notch customer service and know how whenever i visit with a poorly bike.
con artists went their for a quote for a cycle to work scheme. the bill come to 750 then was told i had to pay a 11% surcharge so had a bill for 833 than after speaking to others found out the shop has to pay the 11% so went back to shop got my deposit back and asked him why he was trying to put the 83 pound on me he replied "thats what we get told to do" nothing more than thieves like something off rogue traders
Very welcoming staff, very helpful and let you wander at your own leisure. The bike I got is great, no problems and comes with a warranty and other good parts. There was a wide selection of bikes in all sorts if different styles to suit all needs too! I was in and out in an hour or less and totally happy with my experience, great stuff!
Took my bike for a quote to upgrade the gears on my mountain bike as had reliability issues with current gears. Been to a famous high st cyclist supplier on 5 to 6 occasions but never got the problem solved. The mechanic at Hawks cycles identified the problem within a few seconds and fixed the issue within a minute. Gear changing on my way home was perfect. Great job! Will be coming here for all future servicing now.
