As it stands, this shopping parade is a bit tired and there is conflict between different users, i.e. the motorist versus the pedestrian versus the cyclist versus delivery lorries. As part of a strategic commitment by Derby City Council, there are improvement works scheduled to commence Spring 2017. This will comprise of improvements both to the public realm and to the highway delivering a more attractive environment and a better user experience.
