Great place to site your caravan. Friendly and safe site for the kids to play and loads to do nearby.
Barrier entrance to the park is quite a few from reception, if you can find it as all signs have shrubs obscuring anything written on them. Touring amenity block disgusting. Dirty toilets, showers, & potwash area plus collapsed floor in outside showers. Coffee shop only open at weekends as is the bar. On a plus side, the receptionist was very helpful.
Mint really enjoying upto now my daughter is enjoying her first camping holiday and its our first proper holiday as a family just having a pint in the outside inn pub staff very helpfull and friendly not been here since the 90s but still looks great
U can stay up until 9:00 well sort of only if u are quiet you can stay up later they have got bingo at the weekend around 63 pounds each go by the way it if you have got a caravan,tent or moterhome you can stay. There are static caravans you can buy but last week there was a power cut so that is a warning!!!!!
Camped here for about 3 years for spring bank holiday. Great site, great kids play area nice little shop and bar. Very close to ashbourne for supplies. Good base to explore Peak District. Electric can be a bit temperamental when busy, tripping out but all in all a great site
