The parking is horrible but the hospital itself and the staff are brilliant.
Car park 5 in Royal Derby Hospital has a reasonable prices, nevertheless capacity is limited and waiting times up to 20 minutes on the entry. Location is in the rear side of the hospital, which is very remote for access of the main part of the clinics.
Terribly undersized for the hospital, arrived at 14:10 for a 14:30 appointment, had to phone and let them know that I'll be late, eventually got in at 14:50, thanks to the staff I was accommodated on this occasion.
Just right if you have car
The one way system has not helped parking.can tale 40 mins to park. Disabled bays empty but you cannot get to them as queue for normal parking. The hospital food is disgusting if you have any allergies you have no choice so you eat one meal twice a day every day. Would be nice to see staff wash their hands before treating you.
