Well worth a visit. Really beautiful house with very interesting displays. Can visit all floors of the hose including the cellers. Even public loos are period! Staff very friendly and helpful. Loved it!
Very nice experience visiting this museum, which was called " Beyond the Velvet Rope tour", to see what a Georgian house built in the 1700 really looked like. The whole tour was a real delight with a tour guide dressed in costume of the era and very knowledgeable about the house. The premises is also used for a display of Agatha Christie memorabilia and mystery clues. The tour guide is a must, as you will not learn as much without. There is no entrance fee but they do like a donation. Well worth a visit
Little quaint old house, lovely display and great to visit considering it's free! A nice place to relax and it's on the main road into the city centre too. Really enjoyed their themed Christmas and Agatha Christie displays! And their little dressing up stuff!
This is a relatively unknown but fine example of a Georgian town house in Derby city centre. It is open to the public and entry is free. There is usually a knowledgeable guide available to lead an informal tour.
Very good museum. Rooms laid out as it would have been in Pickford's time. Agatha Christie exhibition was superb. Staff very knowledgeable re all aspects of the museum. Very well done give yourself apart on the back
