Some months ago this shop upgraded the OS and increased the memory in my somewhat aged 27inch iMac. They did an excellent job and were very kind about the fact I had no back-up. They subsequently advised me on a back up hard drive, which they set up for me, and I now use religiously. I thought for all the work and time they gave me their price was very reasonable. These guys are knowledgeable and patient, in my experience. The KRCS central telephone number is also very helpful for all things Apple.
absolute rubbish! took my phone here as apple made me an appointment with them & apple told me i don't need to pay anything as i'm under warranty. i come out of work to make my appointment & arrive early to be told to go and come back when my appointment time is (i was 15 min early) there was nowhere to sit and wait and the staff where playing a games console. i went back for my appointment and was told they will charge me 20 to look at it! i said it was under warranty and she said they are not apple and a providing a service (bare in mind apple sent me here). then told me i need to send it to apple but apple will charge me for a new screen as there is a small crack in it (the problem is the phone is stuck in recovery mode, i don't want a screen). i left the shop with no joy
I had a problem with my mac book air, last week with pop ups. For 29 pounds then upgraded the software and cleared the problem. They were very efficient, friendly and certainly knew their business. I also asked them advice re my 8 year old iMac. I had wondered about getting a new one / part ex, before age takes over. Absolutely no way should I change it they advised. I personally would highly recommend them.
