Fine until today... got given an old pound coin in change. I didnt initially realise but was back there within two minutes. The assistant remembered me but tried to make out she hadnt given it me! She reluctantly swapped it but didnt believe me. Her mistake, not mine, but accept responsibility! Dont try and call an honest customer a liar or treat them as though theyre stupid.My mistake was not immediately realising. Hers was (presumably) accepting it without realising, and then giving it out again. All of that I can forgive, but dont then try and make the customer youve given it to out to be a liar!
My fave little shop! Seemingly always open, even on Sundays, it's saved me more than once. The staff are all superstars, friendly and funny!
